The main objectives of ABMEE are linked to the sustainable development of Brasov with energy efficiency and environmental protection as the basis of that development.

Specific aims are:

The aforementioned objectives will be achieved starting from a detailed energy plan, for each energy field, implementing projects for raising energy efficiency. These aims and objectives will be accomplished through:

ABMEE is involved in drawing up the local strategies of Brasov for the sustainable development, in charge with the local strategies for energy efficiency and environmental protection.

Areas of expertise: changing citizens behavior; disemination of specific information concerning RUE and RES; advice on specific energy issues, energy auditing, promoting new technologies concerning energy efficiency in buildings, CHP, insulation; increasing the awareness regarding environmental protection.

Target audience: both citizens, who can get advice on energy efficiency projects and Local Authorities, who will be provided assistance in defining and promoting energy and environment policy at local level.
