    More than 1,000 experts from the energy industry will get together during the Vaasa EnergyWeek taking place between 19th and 22nd March 2012 in Vaasa. The Vaasa region is the home of EnergyVaasa, the most important centre of energy technology in the Nordic Countries. EnergyVaasa is organising the event in cooperation with several regional public service organisations.

    Energy Efficiency & Behaviour Conference 2012 welcomes both researchers and practitioners. The conference investigates the role of consumption behaviour, regulatory steering and support mechanisms, and innovative user-friendly solutions in terms of their contribution to energy efficiency and sustainable development. The conference particularly welcomes examples of successful and practical product and service innovations that promote energy efficiency among consumers and other end-user groups.

    Partners from 13 European countries will gather for the 4th EURONET 50/50 MAX project meeting this February. Participants will share ideas, experiences and achievements, as well as discussing the barriers they have encountered and brainstorming on how these can best be mediated. Group workshops will aim at exploring the best ways to disseminate the 50/50 concept throughout other countries, regions and municipalities, and engage more buildings in this great energy saving action.
