The emphasis on this thematic approach was enhanced in January 2008, with the launch of three ManagEnergy Thematic Groups (TGs) covering Energy Education, Buildings and Transport and Mobility during the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW). The TGs met in Brussels for a second time at the beginning of June 2008 and and for a third time in early October 2008. The TGs on Education and Transport each hosted a workshop during EUSEW 2009 at the beginning of February 2009.
