EU Green Week 2021: zero pollution ambition

Pollution accelerates climate change and affects not only the environment but also our daily lives by causing physical and mental health problems. It is one of the main causes of biodiversity loss.

The EU Action Plan toward a Zero Pollution Ambition is part of the European Green Deal. It will encourage better monitoring, reporting, preventing and remeding pollution from air, water, soil and consumer products but also support post COVID-19 green recovery. To promote this Plan, the EU Green Week that will take place from 31 May to 4 June 2021 will be dedicated to EU’s path to zero pollution ambition. Stakeholders and interested citizens will be invited to engage in discussions on how we can reach a toxic-free environment.

It is the opportunity for you to showcase your efforts to a wider audience, share your thoughts and contribution to policy development but also exchange Europan envionrmental policy challenges.
