The LIFE Clean Energy Transition Call for Proposals 2022 offers dedicated Project Development Assistance (PDA) to public and private project promoters that aim to deliver ambitious energy efficiency and renewable energy project pipelines.
With a funding rate of 95%, LIFE Clean Energy can support single applications in building technical, economic and legal expertise needed for developing and launching your sustainable energy project pipeline, for example:
- renovation of public or residential buildings;
- improved energy efficiency of existing public infrastructure such as district heating and cooling networks or water/wastewater works; or
- clean and energy-efficient urban transport infrastructure.
In particular, LIFE is eager to support project proposals that are aiming to aggregate and structuring sustainable energy investment projects or that are aiming to develop and use more innovative financing schemes such as Energy Performance Contracting, blending of different funding sources, or on-bill or on-tax payment schemes.
