This high-level conference, organised by the Covenant supporter EcoEnergia (Municipal Energy Efficiency Network Bulgaria) and the European Covenant of Mayors Office, will bring together representatives of public authorities and stakeholders at European, central and local level to discuss the effects of the EU's strategic approach to the process of shaping national and local policies, the role of multilevel governance and incentives to implement local integrated urban development policies based on resource efficiency.
Special attention will be paid to the opportunities and best practices in the rehabilitation of street lighting systems, which play a significant part in the reshaping of the urban environment.
