Host a genset demo site in your city/region!

Air pollution and excessive noise harm our health and our environment. Air pollution mainly stems from industry, transport, energy production and agriculture; while environmental noise levels are rising in urban areas, mainly as a result of increasing traffic volumes and intensifying industrial and recreational activities. It is estimated that around 20% of the population of the EU are subjected to noise levels that are considered unacceptable.

Cities, local and regional governments across the globe are at the forefront of efforts to decrease emissions across sectors. In this context, EVERYWH2ERE, has launched a Regions & Cities Interest Group for pioneering authorities working to reduce urban noise and emissions. Regional and local authorities are invited to become part of a pan-European demonstration campaign and be a pioneer and leader of their own transition towards an emission-free future.

The Group brings together cities and regions from across Europe motivated to showcase the potential of hydrogen-based mobile generator sets (“gensets”) to reduce urban noise and emissions. Joining the Group provides:

  • Opportunity to host a 25kW or 100kW hydrogen genset at a temporary event in your region or city
  • Subscription to an exclusive Regions & Cities newsletter to receive in-depth coverage on how fellow regions and cities are making use of hydrogen gensets in their temporary events
  • Exchange and cooperation with other cities and regions on innovative policy tools for zero emissions, zero noise construction sites and other temporary events
  • Receive feasible and effective policy recommendations to support your zero-emission targets

WHAT IS EVERYWH2ERE?

The main goal of EVERYWH2ERE project is to develop transportable gensets based on hydrogen technologies, aiming to be a feasible alternative to diesel generators and to be capable of supplying power demand in off-grid temporary events. Hydrogen-based gensets will be ready for testing as part of a European-wide demonstration campaign by late-2020. With Turin (Italy), Kozani (Greece) and Steinfurt County (Germany) already on board, the Interest Group is now open for more authorities to join.
